The French luxury house teams up with two of the creative minds behind Bad Bunny's distinctive style for Hotel Moynat, a playful collection inspired by vintage luggage, hotel stickers and the golden age of travel. JDEED caught up with the duo during Paris Fashion Week. See the video, here.

We do really love the feel of vintage luggage covered in hotel stickers. Before Instagram geotags and endless airport selfies, a well-travelled suitcase told its owner's story through the places it had been. A dusty blue suitcase in my parents’ home is living proof. Guilty as charged, it proudly wears stickers from all four corners of the world.

That idea is at the centre of Hotel Moynat, a new collaboration between historic French leather goods house Moynat and Los Angeles-based creatives Storm Pablo and Marvin Douglas. Unveiled in October 2026, the limited-edition collection revisits Moynat's trunk-making heritage, reinterpreting the visual souvenirs of travel through a contemporary lens.

Meet the Duo Behind the Collaboration

If you've followed Bad Bunny's fashion evolution, chances are you've already encountered the work of Storm Pablo and Marvin Douglas, even if you didn't know their names.

Pablo is a stylist whose approach to fashion has helped shape the Puerto Rican superstar's distinctive image, combining bold silhouettes, cultural references and an unapologetic sense of individuality. Douglas, meanwhile, is a fine jewellery designer and founder of his namesake label, with a background that includes Tiffany & Co. and Dover Street Market. His work explores Latin heritage, identity and personal storytelling through jewellery, and he has created custom pieces for Bad Bunny across his last six world tours.

Both have built careers around making fashion feel personal, often working behind the scenes to create some of contemporary pop culture's most memorable visual moments. Their collaboration with Moynat brings that creative perspective into the world of luxury leather goods.

During Paris Fashion Week, JDEED caught up with Storm Pablo and Marvin Douglas to discuss the collaboration, their creative universe and what happens when two contemporary voices reinterpret the archives of one of France's historic luxury houses.

A Love Letter to the Golden Age of Travel

Founded in 1849, Moynat has a long history of producing trunks and travel accessories, making its archives a natural starting point for the collaboration.

The first chapter of Hotel Moynat takes inspiration from the colourful hotel stickers that once accumulated on travellers' trunks, turning luggage into a visual record of journeys taken. For the new collection, these vintage-inspired stickers have been reimagined as leather patches, individually stitched onto Moynat's signature Monogram M canvas.

The result is a series of bags and accessories that feel nostalgic without being overly precious about the past. There are classic Hobo bags, totes, 48-hour duffles, pouches, passport holders and charms, alongside silk scarves, a new travel Mignon and exclusive Limousine trunks.

The collection has a slightly irreverent quality that makes it particularly appealing. Moynat's familiar silhouettes become canvases for colourful graphics and travel references, giving the pieces a more expressive personality. It's easy to imagine one of these bags accompanying its owner through several cities, collecting memories along the way, even if the stickers are already part of the design.

When Heritage Meets a New Generation

Luxury collaborations are hardly unusual, but Hotel Moynat is interesting for its choice of creative partners. Rather than turning to a conventional fashion designer or celebrity ambassador, the house has invited two figures whose influence comes largely from their work behind the scenes.

Pablo and Douglas have helped shape the visual identity of one of the world's most recognisable musicians, bringing their understanding of contemporary culture, individuality and storytelling to a heritage brand. For the duo, discovering Moynat's archives was an important part of the experience.

“Witnessing Moynat’s legacy of innovation and seeing that pieces that have withstood so much time and have gone through so many eras in human history can be cool and relevant today was inspiring to us, we want to give props to Moynat for paying attention to the people behind the scenes,” they shared in a joint statement.

It's a sentiment that says quite a lot about the collaboration. Both Pablo and Douglas have built their careers by developing a visual language that feels rooted in personal and cultural identity, rather than simply following fashion's established codes.

At Moynat, they've been given the opportunity to apply that perspective to objects whose original purpose was practical, but whose appeal has always extended into the realm of personal expression.

And There's More to Come

Hotel Moynat is being released in two chapters. The first, featuring the hotel-sticker designs, became available in Moynat boutiques worldwide on 15 October 2026.

A second chapter, scheduled for November 2026, will introduce crystal studs applied to the house's signature Monogram M canvas. The embellishments take inspiration from the protective hardware found on vintage trunks, transforming a functional detail into something decorative.

It's another example of how the collection plays with Moynat's history, borrowing familiar elements from traditional luggage and giving them a new purpose. Between the graphic leather patches and the forthcoming crystal-studded pieces, Hotel Moynat offers two interpretations of the same idea: that the objects we travel with can say something about who we are.

And with Storm Pablo and Marvin Douglas involved, a little extra personality was always going to be part of the journey.
