There's a lot happening creatively in Saudi Arabia right now, and some of the most interesting voices are the ones doing things entirely their own way.
For its latest regional campaign, Gap Middle East has brought together six Saudi talents across art, music, film, skateboarding and fashion, offering a glimpse into the different creative worlds shaping the Kingdom today. And rather than bringing everyone into a conventional fashion campaign setting, the brand has chosen to meet its protagonists where they feel most at home.

The result is a series of portraits and short films that take us into their everyday environments, creative routines and individual practices, with personal style playing a natural part in each story.
Among the featured talents is multidisciplinary artist Nouf Alhimiary, whose creative practice moves between disciplines, alongside Rakan Ghaith, skateboarder and co-founder of Sandlifers, representing a skateboarding community that has carved out its own space within Saudi youth culture.
Filmmaker Razan Alsoghayer brings cinema into the conversation, while Jeddah-based producer and singer duo Sweam & O.DEE represent the Kingdom's music scene. Completing the lineup is rising model Zahra Hussain, adding another perspective from the world of fashion.
Different backgrounds, different creative languages and, naturally, very different ways of getting dressed

Behind the camera is CHNDY, the multidisciplinary image-maker working across photography, film and creative direction, while styling comes courtesy of Ali Ammar, whose editorial eye brings a fashion dimension to each portrait without losing sight of the individuals themselves.
It's an approach that feels particularly fitting for Gap, a brand whose relationship with denim and everyday dressing has long revolved around the idea of making familiar pieces your own.
The project follows the brand's global Fall 2026 campaign, Denim on Your Own, bringing that same interest in individuality into a distinctly regional context.

What makes the campaign interesting is the range of creative disciplines it brings together. Fashion is only one part of the story. The wider picture is one of young Saudi creatives developing their own visual languages, communities and ways of expressing themselves.
And at a time when Saudi Arabia's cultural scene is attracting increasing international attention, it's refreshing to see a global fashion brand put the focus on the individuals contributing to that creative landscape.
After all, personal style is often most interesting when it tells us something about the person wearing the clothes.
Gap Middle East's Saudi creative series launched on October 2nd and can be discovered through @gapmiddleeast and the brand's regional platforms.
