Every October, the UAE turns a little pink. Restaurants introduce special menus, hotels dress up their afternoon teas and cocktails suddenly come in every imaginable shade of rose. But beyond the pretty drinks and pink decorations, we wanted to know something more important: where is the money actually going?
For Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2026, we've rounded up initiatives across Dubai and Abu Dhabi that are raising funds, supporting survivors or helping keep conversations around breast cancer awareness going.
Because there's a difference between a pink-themed experience and one that makes a financial contribution to a cause, we've made that distinction clear throughout.
Where Your Money Goes: Pink October Fundraisers
carine: Together for More
Emirates Golf Club, Dubai

There's something especially meaningful about a restaurant using its platform to bring people together for a cause, and this October, carine is doing exactly that. Through its Together for More initiative, the French-Mediterranean restaurant is joining the Breast Cancer Awareness Month conversation with a charitable contribution that goes directly towards supporting breast cancer-related work.
The give-back: AED 100 from the initiative is donated in full to Al Jalila Foundation.

The hotel is also introducing pink-themed food and beverage offerings as part of its October initiative, giving guests a few different ways to participate.

Pierre's TT: A Little Pink, a Lot of Heart
Dubai Festival City, Dubai
A pink cocktail with a purpose? We're listening.
For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Pierre's TT is introducing the Velours Rose, a blush-coloured creation combining fresh strawberries, lemon and vanilla, finished with a silky foam. A mocktail option is also part of the Pink October offering. But there's something more meaningful behind the pretty presentation. Revenue from the special drink will help fund an event honouring breast cancer survivors, organised in collaboration with Brest Friends.
It's a thoughtful reminder that Pink October is also about celebrating the women who have lived through breast cancer and creating spaces where their experiences are recognised.
The details: Available throughout October. Velours Rose cocktail priced at AED 75. Pierre's TT opens Tuesday to Saturday from 6:30pm. Reservations: +971 56 511 3356
The give-back: Revenue from the drink supports a breast cancer survivor appreciation event in collaboration with Brest Friends. This is event funding rather than a stated direct donation to the organisation.
There's no shortage of ways to participate in Pink October, whether that means booking a special dinner, treating yourself to an afternoon tea or supporting a fundraising event. But we think it's equally important to know what our participation actually supports.
Some initiatives donate every dirham of proceeds, others contribute a fixed amount or percentage, and some are primarily about raising awareness. All have different roles to play, but transparency matters.
So this October, enjoy the pink cocktails, bring your friends and make the reservations. Just remember to look beyond the colour and ask where your money is going.
Because awareness is important. And when it comes with meaningful action, it's even better.
