Milamend is disrupting the wellness industry—not with empty promises or trend-driven gimmicks, but with science-backed solutions that actually work.
As the founder of Milamend, a brand redefining women’s health and hormonal balance, Mila Magnani is on a mission to cut through the noise of the supplement industry and deliver real results.
Her journey—from Mexico City to New York, and now Paris—is one of relentless curiosity, resilience, and a deep-rooted passion for empowering women. With a community-first approach and a refusal to compromise on quality, she has built Milamend into an internationally recognized brand, resonating with women worldwide, including a growing audience in the Middle East, where hormonal health remains an urgent and often overlooked concern.
In this exclusive conversation, Mila speaks to JDEED Magazine about her personal journey, the inspiration behind Milamend, the future of women’s wellness, and what it takes to build a brand that truly changes lives.

You have such a rich and dynamic background. Can you introduce yourself to our readers and tell us about your journey?
Mila Magnani: Hello! I always hesitate when introducing myself because, believe it or not, I’m an introvert. I was born in Mexico City, spent part of my childhood there, then moved to Dallas, Texas, before heading to New York for university at NYU. Now, I’ve planted roots in Paris, but moving around has always been part of my life.
Coming from a French-Mexican background, I’ve always felt deeply connected to multiple places at once. I’m part of that group of people who’ve had an existential crisis over not knowing where “home” really is. But instead of seeing it as a struggle, I’ve embraced it. Now, I honestly love it.
I carry pieces of every place I’ve lived, and I look forward to exploring new cultures and ways of life. It has shaped everything about me—how I work, what I value, and even my approach to wellness. I’m fascinated by how different cultures approach health, beauty, and self-care, and this global perspective has influenced Milamend’s philosophy from day one.
"At the end of the day, wellness isn’t about perfection—it’s about knowing what your body needs and actually listening to it."
What inspired you to create Milamend? What gap were you trying to fill in the market?
MM: I was frustrated. The supplement industry was full of false promises—either you had to buy five or six different products just to feel a difference, or you’d try an “all-in-one” supplement that did absolutely nothing.
I kept wondering, why hasn’t anyone done this properly? Who has the time to become a part-time researcher just to buy vitamins?
That’s why I created Milamend—a science-driven, transparent, and effective supplement that actually works. It’s what I wish existed years ago, and now I get to share it with thousands of women who have been let down by the wellness industry for far too long.
How has Milamend impacted the lives of the women who use it? Any stories that stand out?
MM: Milamend works differently for every woman, depending on their health, lifestyle, and goals. But for me, the most life-changing moments have been helping women conceive naturally after they were told IVF was their only option. One woman had already gone through IVF for her first child and wanted to do everything she could to conceive naturally this time. She took Milamend, stayed consistent, and we checked in often through FaceTime. Six months later, she sent me a message—she was pregnant. She avoided the emotional and financial burden of IVF, and that moment was incredibly emotional for both of us. And she’s not the only one—we’ve helped so many women, even those who were told they were medically infertile, conceive naturally. But it’s not just about fertility. Some of the most powerful messages come from women with endometriosis, who tell me they no longer need painkillers for their periods. If you know how excruciating endometriosis pain is, you know how much this means.
Then, there are the messages that give me goosebumps: “My kids say, ‘Mom is back.’” “My husband told me, ‘You’re yourself again.’” When the people around you notice your transformation, when they see you full of life again—that’s when I know we’re truly changing lives.
Self-care is a huge part of Milamend’s philosophy. What are your personal wellness rituals?
MM: For me, self-care is non-negotiable. Lymphatic drainage is everything. I struggle with lymphatic stagnation and lipedema, so I have tools everywhere—a body brush near the shower, a gua sha by the couch, and another tool by my bed.
Food is fuel, but it’s also meant to be enjoyed. I make sure my meals are nutrient-dense, high in protein, and fiber-rich. Consistency is key. My hormone balance drink is the one supplement I never skip. Sleep is sacred—I need at least eight hours. Anything less, and I feel like I’m back at square one. Movement is essential, but I don’t force it. Some days, it’s a workout, other days, it’s just a walk or stretching. Mental health is just as important as physical health. Managing stress is crucial for my hormones and gut health, so I set boundaries and protect my peace.
At the end of the day, wellness isn’t about perfection—it’s about knowing what your body needs and actually listening to it.
