Louis Vuitton has conquered trunks, bags, fashion, fine jewelry, and even fragrance. Now, the Maison is stepping into a whole new territory: beauty.
Come fall 2025, the house will unveil La Beauté Louis Vuitton, an entire world dedicated to makeup, artistry, and self-expression — all under the creative direction of none other than Dame Pat McGrath, the world’s most celebrated makeup artist.

For over twenty years, McGrath has been the magic hand behind Louis Vuitton’s runway beauty looks. Known globally for her visionary touch and for founding Pat McGrath Labs, she brings not just expertise but a whole universe of creativity that pushes boundaries. “Beauty goes beyond the product,” she explains. “We’re about to launch something that takes this universe into a whole new dimension.”
While this is Vuitton’s first official foray into makeup, the ties between the Maison and beauty run deep. In the 1920s, Vuitton was already designing exquisite vanity cases, delicate powder boxes, and refined brushes. One-of-a-kind creations — like a bespoke Milano case made for soprano Marthe Chenal in 1925 — still live in the archives, reminding us that glamour has always been part of the journey.

So what to expect? While details of the line are still under wraps, CEO Pietro Beccari promises “an evolution faithful to the Maison’s creativity and heritage,” with a focus on exceptional formulations, innovation, and craftsmanship. Think timeless Vuitton savoir-faire, now reinvented for the makeup bag.

One thing’s certain: Louis Vuitton Beauty won’t just be about lipstick and powder. It’s about transporting the art of beauty into the Maison’s legendary Art of Travel.
