Let’s just say it: dining at Netsu is not a meal—it’s a Hollywood production.

From the moment you sink into a seat facing that glowing warayaki robata grill, you know you're in for something extraordinary. The energy is magnetic, the service dances between seamless and voyeuristic (you’re basically front row at a culinary opera).

Drinks That Spark the Night

Netsu’s cocktail menu reads like a museum of liquid art. We sipped the Yoru No Hana (vodka, merlot grape juice, vanilla, yuzu)—a floral sip of intrigue. Then we dove into the Sakura Royale, infused with shimmering hibiscus and sparkling wine; it felt celebratory in every sip. And it wouldn’t be Netsu without trying sake and umeshu side by side—crisp, floral, boozy poetry.

Robata Grill Revels & Sashimi Dreams

The menu opens bold. Hand rolls raced to our table—a rewind of everything that’s lovely about sushi: soft rice, crunchy nori, bursts of fresh fish. Then came a moment of reverence: the otoro sashimi. Silken, marbled perfection that melted on the tongue like it had been designed for no other purpose than pure pleasure. It was an ode to simplicity, reminding us that true luxury is found in restraint.

From there, the fire kept rising—spicy miso Chilean sea bass arrived, lacquered in tang and heat; the miso eggplant sang in sweet glaze and crunchy bubu arare; and the black cod (a whispered special) dissolved like butter under moonlight.

Sharing Plates, Big Energy

We rolled into the sharing menu with a grin. Yellowtail tiradito woke our palates with kumquat’s bold flash, annatto oil’s gilded richness, and rocoto chile’s electric kick. Tender Wagyu beef gyoza and Korean fried chicken streaked the table with spice, crunch, and mischief. Each dish felt global, grounded, and wildly fun at once.

But Netsu saved the best for last. Standing at the bar, our dessert unfurled—popcorn bursting skyward from a vintage machine, dusted with whatever tiny flecks make it feeling magical. The spectacle was playful, the flavor epoch-making. And the taste? Let's say good enough for making us

Service & Atmosphere

Beyond the plates, what makes Netsu unforgettable is its people. The service is impeccable (Priska was the best!)—thoughtful without being intrusive, intuitive in the way only true hospitality can be. Every recommendation hit the mark, and every interaction felt like part of the show. The ambiance ties it all together: buzzing, lively, full of laughter and firelight from the grill, making it the kind of place where conversations stretch late and time disappears.

From tip to tail, everything at Netsu felt curated—from the atmospheric seating in front of the flames to each jewel-like plate and drink. It was breathtaking theater, with a script written in smoke, glittering sake, silken sashimi, buttery bites, and a staff that made the whole experience flow seamlessly. If you only do one thing this month, make it Netsu.
